The initial shipment of the Made-in-India F77 MACH 2 electric motorcycles has been dispatched to the European market.
Ultraviolette Automotive achieved a significant milestone by launching its first shipment of Made-in-India F77 MACH 2 electric motorcycles to the European Union (EU) market. This event, held at Ultraviolette’s Bengaluru manufacturing facility, was presided over by Union Minister of Heavy Industries, H.D. Kumaraswamy, and Karnataka’s Minister of Industries and Commerce, Shri M.B. Patil.
Union Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy underscored the importance of Ultraviolette’s expansion into Europe as a pivotal moment for India’s automotive industry, demonstrating the nation’s ability to compete internationally. He remarked that this move aligns with the government’s objective to establish India as a key player in the global electric vehicle (EV) industry.
Karnataka’s Minister of Industries and Commerce, M.B. Patil, emphasized Bengaluru’s contribution to India’s electric vehicle sector’s growth. He praised Ultraviolette for its role in enhancing the state’s innovation ecosystem and noted that the export of these motorcycles is a significant step towards Karnataka’s sustainable development and technological progress.
Narayan Subramaniam, Co-founder and CEO of Ultraviolette discussed the company’s foray into the European market. He stated that exporting the F77 MACH 2 marks the introduction of Indian-engineered electric vehicle technology to international markets.
Niraj Rajmohan, Co-founder and CTO of Ultraviolette highlighted the company’s dedication to producing electric vehicles in India for global consumption. He pointed out that Europe is a critical market for electric mobility, and with the F77 MACH 2, Ultraviolette aims to showcase the prowess of Indian electric vehicles.
Ultraviolette is leveraging its technological and manufacturing capabilities to carve a niche in the global electric vehicle market, producing the F77 MACH 2 in Bengaluru to meet international standards.
