Unveiling a refreshed corporate identity, Ramakrishna Electro Components Pvt. Ltd. is looking to expand its role in India’s rapidly growing electronics and semiconductor ecosystem.
The announcement was made at RK Partnership Day, the company’s flagship industry event in New Delhi, which brought together over 80 principal suppliers and more than 150 customers from across the electronics value chain. The gathering saw participation from a wide range of global and domestic partners.
Alongside the brand refresh, the company said it is targeting around ₹25 billion in revenue over the next five years, while also outlining a longer term ambition to build a ₹25 billion semiconductor distribution and solutions business by 2030. Ramakrishna said the new brand identity reflects a strategic shift as it moves beyond conventional component distribution.
India’s semiconductor consumption is projected to reach $110 billion by 2030, driven by demand from electric mobility, defence electronics, industrial automation and energy infrastructure. Against this backdrop, the company said it is positioning itself as an integrated ecosystem partner by combining component distribution with design led and supply chain driven solutions.
A key pillar of this transition is the expansion of Ramakrishna Design House, its in house engineering and system design arm. The initiative is expected to provide end to end design support, helping customers accelerate product development and strengthen local engineering capabilities. The company also plans to invest in scalable supply chain infrastructure to support India’s growing electronics manufacturing requirements, aligned with Make in India and Atmanirbhar Bharat initiatives.
Satish Luthra, chairperson of Ramakrishna Electro Components, traced the company’s origins to a spare parts business started in Delhi’s Lajpat Nagar in 1982, which later expanded through long standing partnerships. He noted that India’s semiconductor ecosystem is now taking shape, with the company focusing on automotive, industrial and power segments, as well as emerging areas such as robotics and artificial intelligence.
Shivang Luthra, MD of Ramakrishna Electro Components, mentions during the event, “Our vision is grounded in purpose and powered by people. By embracing innovation, accountability and collaboration, we are not just preparing for the future but shaping it.”
Strong participation at RK Partnership Day highlighted growing confidence in the company’s leadership and execution as India’s electronics and semiconductor ecosystem continues to scale.
