The Company is betting big on ‘screenless’ future, opens up pre-orders.
Indian wearable startup Luxid Tech has entered the AR/VR space with the launch of its ‘Vue AR Glasses’ and companion device ‘VueRing’, opening pre-orders on its website as it looks to test early demand.
The company is asking users to pay ₹7,400 upfront to reserve the device. The full price of the Vue AR Glasses is pegged at ₹36,999, while the companion VueRing controller is priced separately at ₹3,699.

According to Luxid, the augmented reality glasses is a lightweight wearable that promises a 180-inch private virtual display, eliminating the need for physical screens. The VueRing acts as a navigation layer, acting as a small wearable input device to control the interface.
The Company says it is positioning this product as a productivity + mobility device which you use daily, not occasionally. They claim that you can work, watch content and interact without pulling out a laptop or phone.
The 25-year-old CEO Siddhant Aggarwal says, “The future of wearables is about creating technology that understands context of where you are and what you need in real time”. His digital nomad experience is being used as the backstory for portable design thinking.
The company operates out of Bengaluru and Delhi-NCR and is part of a small set of Indian startups attempting original hardware in AR/VR.
It will be interesting to watch how does this early product scales up and how many users actually pay for the costly tech for the experience it promises.
