Betting bigger on India, Mini-Circuits inaugurated its new Bengaluru office to complement its Chennai operations and target fast-growing RF and microwave demand.
Mini-Circuits has formally opened a new sales and applications engineering office in Bengaluru on Monday, 15 December 2025, deepening its footprint in India. The company highlighted that this sharpens its focus on customer support in the fast-growing RF and microwave market.
The new office will enable closer engagement with customers, quicker response times and stronger engineering collaboration in southern India. Bengaluru, as recognised by industry, is a major centre for wireless, semiconductor, and aerospace research, making it a strategic location for expansion.
The facility complements Mini-Circuits India Urjita (MCINU) in Chennai, which remains a core pillar of the company’s global operations. The Chennai centre recently marked 25 years of activity and continues to serve as a major hub for engineering, research and development, and global support functions.
Mini-Circuits said the dual-location approach will help balance local responsiveness with global scale. While Chennai anchors long-term engineering and innovation efforts, the Bengaluru office is designed to bring technical and commercial teams closer to customers working on next-generation RF and microwave applications.
The announcement coincided with the opening of the 2025 IEEE Microwaves, Antennas and Propagation Conference (MAPCON) in Kochi, from December 14 to 18, 2025.
Commenting on the expansion, the company’s Chief Executive Jin Bains said India is becoming increasingly influential in shaping the future of RF and microwave technologies.
“Expanding our presence in Bengaluru positions us closer to our customers, enhances our engineering engagement and enables us to support innovation at the pace this market demands,” he said.
Paul Wilson, Executive Vice President for Sales and Marketing, said Indian customers are rapidly developing advanced wireless systems.
“Together with our Chennai team, this expansion strengthens our ability to meet customers where they are and help them succeed,” he said. Mini-Circuits said the Bengaluru office is already fully operational. Staff are currently focused on customer support, applications engineering and regional business development.
