Announcing expansion to a new facility in Sheffield, UK, infrared sensor manufacturer Phlux Technology has appointed Christian Rookes, Brian Williams, and John Fuller as leaders of marketing, operations and engineering.
Phlux Technology, a British company specialising in avalanche photodiode (APD) infrared sensors, has made several key appointments recently to bolster its growth and operations following a move to larger premises.
Accordingly, Christian Rookes has joined as the Vice President of Marketing, Brian Williams as the Vice President of Operations, and John Fuller as the Director of Engineering.
Rookes, with 25 years of experience in the semiconductor and technology industries, is set to lead Phlux’s marketing initiatives. His background in market analysis, product definition, and strategic business development is expected to drive the company’s market presence in high-performance infrared sensors.
Brian Williams, who has over 35 years of experience in the semiconductor field, will focus on operational excellence. His track record in building teams and developing scalable supply chains will be crucial in expansion, as the company stated.
With engineering leadership experience, John Fuller will be instrumental in advancing product development and optimising resources to support the firm’s market growth. He also has experience in Agile methodologies and organisational change from his previous role at Gas Sensing Solutions.
