Zettaone Technologies has officially commissioned a new state-of-the-art SMT line at its Krishnagiri facility in Tamil Nadu.
The company’s Krishnagiri facility, which previously operated within a 15,000 sq. ft. space, has now expanded to 25,000 sq. ft. with the addition of a brand-new SMT line powered by Yamaha and Mycronic equipment. This expansion brings enhanced capabilities, including flying probe testers, thermal cycling chambers, automated conformal coating, and advanced BGA rework stations specialised in 3D stacking Package-on-Package (PoP).
The factory is built for high-precision, high-complexity boards required in mission-critical applications. It is entirely digitised using Zettaone’s proprietary MES platform, integrated with SAP and Salesforce, making it a fully Industry 5.0-enabled smart facility.
Zettaone works with customers in sectors such as aerospace and defense, automotive, semiconductors, industrial, telecom, and medical. The company holds AS9100 and IATF 16949 certifications and is in the final stage of obtaining ISO 13485 certification, which covers both design and manufacturing processes. Its engineering operations are headquartered in Bangalore, with a 20,000 sq. ft. office and a 4,000 sq. ft. R&D lab located in Electronics City Phase 1.

In an exclusive conversation with EFY’s Nitisha Dubey, Suresh Kumar M, Co-Founder and Director of Zettaone, emphasised the strategic benefits of the company’s Krishnagiri location—particularly in workforce retention and cost efficiency. By offering salaries comparable to those in Bangalore, Zettaone secures a stable and committed local talent pool. “The company actively recruits diploma and engineering graduates through partnerships with colleges in Krishnagiri, Salem, and Vellore. It also runs an in-house IPC-certified training program led by its CIT-certified professionals”, he added.
Suresh revealed that Zettaone’s has signed an acquisition of 7 acres in the SIPCOT industrial estate near Pochampalli, where it aims to build a 100,000 sq. ft. facility. This large-scale plant will enable comprehensive ODM operations, including PCB assembly, box build, sheet metal work, plastic molding, and potentially semiconductor packaging—an area where collaborative efforts are currently in advanced stages.
The facility will serve key sectors, including aerospace, defense, semiconductors, and industrial applications, with ten new production lines and dedicated spaces for full product assembly.
Zettaone also intends to open a new facility in Dallas, USA, within the next nine months to better support its growing international clientele.
Zettaone is now expanding its global marketing and business development team. New offices have been established in Chennai and Pune, and a regional expansion strategy is in place to localise business development and even add production lines in key Indian cities. The company is also exploring opportunities in Europe and the Middle East.
Zettaone began its journey as an engineering services company, primarily focused on solving the critical disconnect between design and manufacturing in India’s electronics ecosystem. Over time, it evolved into a complete OEM/ESDM player that offers end-to-end solutions—from idea and design to manufacturing and certification. The company enables OEMs and Tier 1 customers to walk in with a concept and walk out with a certified, deployment-ready product.
“We are jointly working with customers in cutting-edge technologies, such as photonics and quantum computing, and are engaged in advanced R&D to stay ahead in a constantly evolving technological landscape”, informed Suresh.
The company aims to double its revenue year-over-year, having closed last year at $10 million and already securing over $12 million in bookings for the current year. Its goal is to reach $100 million in revenue within the next three years.
