Yulu, a prominent player in India’s shared electric two-wheeler mobility sector, join forces with Zepto, an online grocery service provider in India. The main goal of this partnership is to expand the scope of eco-friendly deliveries while also supporting the professional development of the delivery workforce.
Taking a significant step toward sustainable mobility, this partnership seeks to transform local deliveries in major cities like Bengaluru, Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Delhi, and Gurugram. By incorporating Yulu’s fleet of 20,000 DeX EVs into Zepto’s operations, this initiative will introduce eco-friendly logistics, greatly cutting down on delivery-related carbon emissions.
Central to this initiative is the aspiration of offering sustainable livelihoods to a wide spectrum of individuals. Yulu’s approach of deploying shared electric vehicles provides a solution to individuals who may not possess a driving license or a personal vehicle, thus expanding the horizons of employability.
Aside from its ecological impact, this collaboration catalyzes workforce empowerment. Through Yulu’s cost-effective shared mobility solutions, delivery riders can augment their earnings and savings.
