Evnnovator and CHARGE+ZONE, electric mobility service providers and charge point operators, have partnered with Mercedes-Benz to introduce a pioneering integrated charging solution, the first of its kind in the industry.
The newly introduced charging solution is designed exclusively for Mercedes-Benz patrons. The company boasts of having the largest luxury carmaker-endorsed charging network in India, as per their announcement.
Evnnovator’s eMSP platform presents the FICH EV Charging App, which enables customers to effortlessly find, access, and settle payments for charging across various providers through a singular interface. Meanwhile, CHARGE+ZONE has developed the Charge Cloud, a cloud-driven Charging Management Software, which merges high-speed EV chargers from the Mercedes-Benz Franchise Network and syncs them with Evnnovator’s eMSP platform.
Mercedes-Benz India, in its stride toward eco-friendly transportation, has made its Franchise Charging Network accessible to other car manufacturers, allowing them to use the charging facilities at Mercedes-Benz Franchise DC Charging stations throughout India.
Santosh Iyer, the Managing Director and CEO of Mercedes-Benz India highlighted the brand’s commitment to an electrified future in India, emphasizing the critical role of convenient charging solutions. The collaboration with Evnnovator integrates the brand’s charging network within the FICH app, which ensures smooth access to nationwide fast charging, enhancing customer satisfaction and confidence. This initiative opens Mercedes-Benz’s charging infrastructure to all EV customers via the app.
Rai Nitin Chitransh, Founder of Evnnovator, shared his excitement about the initiative, noting that the integration of their inventive eMSP platform with the user-centric FICH app will provide users with easy access to a wide range of charging services. The platform aims to streamline the EV charging process, offering a hassle-free and practical experience.
