Greenfuel And EVE Energy Collaborate On Advanced Lithium Batteries

This collaboration with EVE Energy is designed to guarantee that Greenfuel secures premium lithium cells.

Greenfuel Energy Solutions, renowned for its innovative clean mobility and Energy Storage System (ESS) offerings in India, has recently forged a significant strategic partnership with EVE Energy Co., Ltd., a globally recognized pioneer in the realm of lithium battery technology. The essence of this partnership lies in strengthening Greenfuel’s reputation as a trusted provider of clean mobility solutions through the integration of EVE Energy’s advanced lithium cell technologies, which span pouch, prismatic, and cylindrical formats.

EVE Energy is celebrated for its mastery over core technologies and the delivery of comprehensive solutions across the lithium battery sector, presenting a range of products that cater to consumer electronics, power, and energy storage needs. The company’s cylindrical batteries, which utilize NCM and LFP material systems, are distinguished by their high safety standards, durability, long cycle life, and ability to perform across a broad temperature spectrum. With over 2.1 billion cylindrical batteries distributed worldwide, EVE Energy has established itself as a dominant force in the industry.

Akshay Kashyap, the Managing Director and founder of Greenfuel Energy Solutions, expressed his enthusiasm about the partnership, noting that joining forces with EVE Energy marks a pivotal step forward in their commitment to lead innovation within the electric mobility space. This partnership is expected to significantly enhance the performance and lifespan of their electric mobility and ESS lithium-ion battery packs.

EVE Energy, as a vital global partner for Greenfuel, continues to maintain its technological edge, especially in cylindrical batteries, while presenting a versatile range of products tailored for the international market. At the 2023 India EVEXPO, EVE Energy showcased its latest offerings, including cylindrical and prismatic batteries, battery packs, systems, and Battery Management Systems (BMS) designed to fit a wide array of electric transportation and IoT applications.

Moreover, in 2023, EVE Energy proudly announced the initiation of a battery manufacturing plant in Debrecen, Hungary, with a special focus on producing large cylindrical batteries primarily for the BMW Group’s Debrecen facility. Spanning 450,000 square meters, the factory is set to be a key supplier of large cylindrical batteries.

Emphasizing Greenfuel’s critical contribution to advancing India’s electric vehicle (EV) revolution, Kashyap remarked that as a leader in the EV industry, Greenfuel is dedicated to providing battery packs that are not only engineered with precision but are also manufactured in India. The company’s commitment to research and development guarantees the creation of battery solutions that are of the highest quality, reliability, durability, and safety for its customers. Kashyap proudly shared that Greenfuel has achieved a significant milestone by selling over 100,000 lithium batteries, collectively covering a distance of over 80 million kilometres.
