Hexagon Collaborates With SimYog To Enhance EMI/EMC Simulations In India

The partnership is designed to deliver SimYog’s EMI/EMC simulation technology to Indian enterprises, assisting them in meeting compliance demands, curtailing delays in reaching the market, and refining design workflows within the electronics and automotive industries.

Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence India Pvt. Ltd. has entered into a strategic partnership with SimYog Technology Pvt. Ltd., a computational software firm based in Bangalore. This initiative aims to introduce SimYog’s Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) and Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) simulation software to the Indian market.

EMI and EMC play crucial roles in causing compliance failures in electronic and electrical hardware at the verification stage, which can lead to project delays, extra costs, and an increase in the Bill-of-Materials (BoM) due to last-minute adjustments.

SimYog’s premier offering, Compliance-scope (CompScope), acts as a “Virtual EMI/EMC laboratory,” capable of predicting tests for Radiated Emissions (RE), Conducted Emissions (CE), Radiated Immunity (RI), and Conducted Immunity (CI). This software enables users to evaluate EMC performance early in the design stage, even before prototype development, helping to identify design issues and minimise time-to-market and BoM expenses. Additionally, SimYog provides SEM-Scope, a tool for EMI/EMC simulation at the integration level, and MAX-Scope, a versatile 3D full-wave EM solver.

Through this alliance, Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence will use its broad sales network to support SimYog in expanding its footprint in India and establishing a marketing ecosystem. The partnership is set to help customers meet EMI/EMC standards and reduce related risks.

Sridhar Dharmarajan, Executive Vice President & Managing Director of Hexagon, praised SimYog’s innovative solutions and their proven success with top semiconductor, Tier-1, OEM, and defense companies. He is confident that this partnership will be advantageous for both Hexagon and its clientele.

Dipanjan Gope, CEO of SimYog, remarked that Hexagon’s stellar reputation and market expertise are well-aligned with SimYog’s mission to deliver state-of-the-art hardware design solutions in the electronics and automotive sectors. He is optimistic about the partnership’s potential to reach new customers.
