Orient Technologies, AWS Partner To Boost AI In India

Leveraging advanced GPUs for cost savings, energy efficiency, and scaling the IndiaAI initiative globally, Orient Technologies teams up with AWS India to boost AI innovation.

Indian IT service provider Orient Technologies Ltd has recently announced a collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS) India to deliver advanced GPU and AI services. 

According to Orient, this partnership will enable the company to leverage AWS’s specialised GPU chips, AI capabilities, and expansive ecosystem to drive AI innovation in India as a part of its focus on empowering businesses to realise the full potential of AI.

AWS’s GPU chips offer several advantages, including over 50 per cent reduced costs and lower training expenses compared to traditional solutions. This cost-effectiveness is crucial for expanding participation in the IndiaAI initiative, enabling faster development of AI technologies. Additionally, AWS GPUs provide 25 per cent greater energy efficiency. 

“We are also proud to collaborate with MeitY in supporting mission-critical infrastructure across various national initiatives,” noted Umesh Shah, Director at Orient Technologies, expressing enthusiasm about the collaboration.

He affirmed that with AWS’s support, Orient Technologies aims to play a significant role in the IndiaAI mission, driving large-scale AI deployment and positioning India as a global leader in AI innovation.

The partnership with AWS will enable the IndiaAI initiative to scale AI solutions quickly, promoting innovation and positioning India as a leader in AI development. By leveraging AWS’s advanced technology and global ecosystem, Orient Technologies and AWS aim to enhance India’s AI capabilities, contributing to national and international technological progress.
