Magenta Mobility Welcomes Sujit Cherian As CSO

Leveraging his 25+ years of expertise in strategy and business transformation, Magenta Mobility names Sujit Cherian as Chief Strategy Officer to drive growth.

Magenta Mobility recently announced the appointment of Sujit Cherian as its new Chief Strategy Officer (CSO). With more than 25 years of experience in corporate strategy, investment banking, and financial planning, the company sees Sujit’s expertise as vital at a “pivotal” point in its growth.

A chartered accountant, Sujit has a strong background in business transformation and scaling high-growth companies. Before joining Magenta, he served as CSO at LEAP India, where he boosted the company’s valuation from ₹1.5 billion to ₹50 billion.

Sujit has also held leadership roles at Bravia Capital, Rent Alpha, Go Air, Jet Airways, and the Indian Hotels Company (Taj Group), contributing to strategic initiatives, mergers, acquisitions, and operational expansions across logistics, aviation, and financial services.

Maxson Lewis, Managing Director and CEO of Magenta Mobility, expressed excitement about Sujit’s appointment. “His strategic acumen and capital markets expertise will be instrumental as we accelerate our mission to build sustainable EV infrastructure and clean energy solutions across India,” he noted.
