Statcon Receives Investment From Rotomag

The investment may spark momentum in clean energy expansion and wider applications in sustainable power across multiple sectors.

To accelerate its clean energy initiatives and global expansion, Statcon Energiaa Private Limited has secured a strategic investment from Rotomag Enertec Limited, which now holds a majority equity stake in the company. The company’s input assures that this investment will strengthen Statcon Energiaa’s vision to project themselves as the first Indian company to fully design, manufacture, and commercially sell on-grid solar inverters.

As per official data, with the investment already done, the companies are now eyeing to achieve their ambitious vision together:

  • Next-generation Megawatt Battery Energy Storage System (MW-BESS) solutions development
  • Leveraging production of indigenous solar inverter, especially hybrid and three-phase on-grid systems
  • Enhancing efforts in the green hydrogen rectifier sector
  • R&D in advanced energy solutions using lithium-ion batteries
  • Expansion in Asia, Africa, the Middle East, and other markets

Statcon has also recently finalized a strategic agreement with AEG Power Solutions, Germany in the field of green hydrogen rectifiers. Company’s data reaffirms that the deal and investment is in alignment with the national priorities, including the Make-in-India initiative, transition to clean energy, and energy independence through domestic innovation.
