Securing European manufacturing muscle and a future-ready robotics edge, Mumbai-based Hind Rectifiers is powering up its global ambitions with the France’s BeLink Solutions acquisition.
Hind Rectifiers Ltd (Hirect) has announced the acquisition of BeLink Solutions, a French electronics and robotics firm, in a deal valued at €1 million. According to the company, this aims to strengthen Hirect’s presence in Europe, expanding its global footprint in power electronics, robotics and electronics manufacturing services (EMS).
The transaction includes BeLink’s production and testing infrastructure, plant and machinery, intellectual property, technology, customer contracts and purchase orders. As part of the arrangement, a new subsidiary will be formed.
A total capital infusion of €2 million has been planned, too. Hirect will invest €1 million in preference shares, while another €1 million will be raised through equity. Of this, Hirect will hold 66 per cent, and promoter group companies will subscribe to the remaining 34 per cent.
Presently, BeLink operates six automated production lines and advanced testing facilities. The company, with nearly four decades of industry experience, is expected to post €13 million in revenue in 2025 and already has pending orders worth €10 million for 2026.
Commenting on the acquisition, Suramya Nevatia, Chairman, Managing Director and CEO of Hind Rectifiers, said: “It gives us not only a strong base in Europe but also the ability to combine advanced production capabilities with deep R&D in robotics.”
Founded in 1958, Hirect manufactures traction propulsion systems, power converters, rectifiers, transformers, motors and HVAC systems. It employs about 950 people, operates plants in Nashik and Mumbai, and exports to over 30 countries.
