Aimtron Electronics Wins $3.94M Global Order For IoT Devices

Securing a multi-million-dollar global order, Aimtron Electronics gears up to export 200,000 IoT devices, boosting India’s Make in India vision and manufacturing strength.

Aimtron Electronics, an Indian electronics system design and manufacturing firm, has secured an international order worth US$3.94 million (around ₹347 million) to produce and export 200,000 Internet of Things (IoT) devices over the next 12 to 15 months.

The Vadodara-based company, which provides electronics manufacturing services (EMS), PCB assembly, box-build, and product design, said the deal highlights India’s growing role in global electronics manufacturing.

Mukesh Vasani, Founder and Chairman of Aimtron Electronics, said the international order highlighted the trust global clients placed in India’s manufacturing capabilities.

He added that the deal offered an opportunity to deliver high-quality IoT devices while supporting the government’s Make in India and Aatmanirbhar Bharat initiatives.

The project will involve large-scale production of connected devices built to international standards, supporting Aimtron’s expansion in export markets and contributing to foreign exchange earnings. The company expects the deal to create additional employment opportunities as production ramps up.

Aimtron has positioned itself as a key player in India’s fast-growing IoT and electronics design and manufacturing segment. Industry estimates suggest India’s IoT market could exceed US$7 billion by 2025, supported by a surge in connected devices and industrial automation.

Founded in 2011, Aimtron Electronics operates advanced manufacturing facilities in Vadodara, Ahmedabad, and Bengaluru, alongside its parent company’s headquarters in Chicago, US. The firm offers end-to-end solutions, from circuit design and PCB assembly to system integration and testing, serving both domestic and international clients.

Vasani added that Aimtron plans to continue investing in automation, quality systems, and design innovation to strengthen India’s position as a trusted global manufacturing hub for next-generation electronic products.
