Defence electronics manufacturer Apollo Micro Systems has secured new contracts totaling ₹213.39 crore ($22.5 million). The fresh orders come from major defence industry stakeholders, including the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), Defence Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs), and key private sector defence enterprises.
With these recent contract additions, Apollo Micro Systems’ total order book has surged to $178 million approximately, as of August 2026, providing strong revenue visibility and long-term clarity for its upcoming quarterly execution schedules.
Historically recognized for core defence electronics and embedded systems, Apollo Micro Systems is actively moving up the value chain. The company is shifting its strategic focus toward designing and manufacturing full-scale weapon-platform subsystems, positioning itself as a comprehensive solutions provider rather than a standalone component supplier.
The company’s growth aligns with the Indian government’s push for self-reliance in military technology under the “Atmanirbhar Bharat Mission”.
Alongside organic business growth, Apollo Micro Systems is expanding its technological offerings through strategic acquisitions. The firm recently finalized its acquisition of Premier Explosives, allowing it to diversify its footprint across the wider defence and energetic material manufacturing value chain.
Moving forward, Apollo Micro Systems plans to leverage its growing technical synergies across all domains of warfare to bid for larger government contracts and collaborate on next-generation military hardware development.
