Rapidise is quadrupling its Manesar electronics manufacturing capacity through a ₹200 crore investment, adding SMT lines and automated systems to support complex PCB assemblies, including AI and server boards.
Rapidise is expanding its Manesar manufacturing operations to quadruple overall production capacity as part of an approximately ₹200 crore, three-year investment plan, strengthening its ability to manufacture complex electronics in India. The company is adding a 120,000 sq ft facility in Sector 8, Manesar, alongside its existing 40,000 sq ft facility in Sector 3. The new facility will add Surface Mount Technology (SMT) capacity, automated manufacturing systems, and digital production capabilities for higher volumes and more complex electronics programmes.
Rapidise has already added a dual-lane SMT line, taking total component-placement capacity to approximately 800,000 placements per hour. The setup will support complex PCB assemblies, including server and AI boards, with connected manufacturing systems providing real-time production traceability.
“Rapidise was built on bringing design engineering and manufacturing together. As we scale, we are building capacity ahead of demand so that infrastructure does not become a bottleneck to growth. The Manesar expansion gives us the manufacturing base to take larger and more complex programmes from design to volume production in India, while expanding our capabilities across AI hardware, networking and compute, defence and railways,” said Brijesh Kamani, Founder, MD & CEO, Rapidise.
The ₹200 crore investment will be deployed in phases, including the Sector 8 expansion and installation of 10 SMT lines. The expansion is expected to create around 1,000 direct and indirect jobs during FY27.
Rapidise manufactures electronics for automotive, consumer electronics, telecom, security and surveillance, networking and compute, healthcare, and agriculture, with capabilities spanning product engineering, validation and mass manufacturing.
