UST Selects 19 Startups for D3 Startup Challenge 2026 in Bengaluru

The programme is designed to identify technologies that address business challenges, assess their practical applications and determine their potential to scale

UST, an AI and technology transformation solutions company, has launched the UST D3 Startup Challenge 2026 as part of its annual D3 (Dream, Develop, Disrupt) technology conference. Conducted in collaboration with Link Innovations, the initiative aims to connect promising startups with UST’s global technology and business teams to explore enterprise adoption through proof-of-concept (PoC) projects, paid pilots and long-term collaborations.

The inaugural challenge received more than 120 applications from startups across India, covering five priority technology domains. Following a multi-stage evaluation process, 19 startups were selected to participate in the Bengaluru City Pitch Series, where they will present their solutions to UST’s technology and global business teams.

The evaluation process assessed technology relevance, maturity, enterprise readiness and alignment with UST’s priority business use cases. Of the 19 selected participants, five will advance to the D3 Expo to showcase their solutions to a wider UST audience and explore potential collaboration opportunities.

The UST D3 Startup Challenge focuses on five areas: AI Models, Trust and Responsibility; Future of Healthcare and Life Sciences; Future of Telecom and Technology; Future of Engineering and Semiconductors; and Future of Financial Services and Banking.

The initiative extends UST’s D3 conference beyond its traditional technology and engineering communities by providing startups with a structured platform to demonstrate innovations and engage directly with enterprise teams. The programme is designed to identify technologies that address business challenges, assess their practical applications and determine their potential to scale.

“Speed to market has always mattered. What is changing is how quickly AI can move an idea from concept to validation and scale,” said Manu Gopinath, President, UST. He added that the challenge brings startups, enterprise expertise and business requirements together to accelerate innovation and help promising ideas develop into scalable solutions with market impact.
