Swiss equipment specialist consolidates regional distribution to connect international technology partners with European chipmakers.
Quasys AG has announced the launch of Quasys Europe, a dedicated sales organization designed to centralize and strategically expand the distribution of semiconductor equipment and technical solutions across the continent. By establishing a single point of contact for international vendors and European manufacturers, the firm aims to create a unified gateway for specialized microelectronics technology.
The new structure positions Quasys Europe as a comprehensive technology partner rather than a traditional distributor. Operating across the entire semiconductor supply chain—including chipmakers, outsourced semiconductor assembly and test (OSAT) providers, and R&D facilities—the company will deliver end-to-end support spanning solution selection, technical evaluation, implementation, and ongoing regional service.
For international technology providers, particularly those based in Asia, Quasys Europe offers a streamlined platform to enter and scale within the European market without establishing separate regional offices. In addition to direct sales, the organization will handle technical consulting, project management, customer support, and representation at key industry events.
“With Quasys Europe, we are establishing a clear structure for our future activities in the European semiconductor industry,” said Rolf Nussbaumer, Managing Director of Quasys AG. “This is not just about selling individual products, but about long-term partnerships and a deep understanding of the respective applications and processes.”
Building on Quasys’ experience since 1989 in semiconductor back-end processing, handling, testing, and bonding tools, the expanded entity plans to gradually broaden its portfolio with new technology partners focused on boosting manufacturing automation, quality, and output across Europe.
