This software lets you try ‘Virtually’ before buying

Thursday, May 23, 2013: Total Immersion has launched its pristine, new TryLive Eyewear- a virtual try-on solution that allows online customers to check exactly how any selection or an optical eyewear will look like. This “groundbreaking AR platform for e-commerce” allow the shoppers to “try before they buy.”

Total Immersion has integrated TryLiveTM with Adobe Scene7, which allows online shoppers to virtually accessorize their style with eyewear, jewelry, watches and headphones. This helps in improving brand engagement and boosting purchase confidence.

You can try eyewear from any camera-equipped computer, tablet or smartphone and select different lenses and frames to identify the best fit, size or colour.

Not only this, if you like any specific eyewear, you can save it and share with friends through Facebook, Twitter or other social media to know their opinion.

“For many of the world’s top retail brands, Adobe Scene7 dynamic media solutions are critical components of their online experience. Our expanded partnership with Total Immersion offers retailers new, compelling capabilities to extend the value of their Scene7 assets with engaging augmented-reality solutions that further their ability to optimize online conversions,” said Kevin Lindsay, group product marketing manager, Omniture Business Unit, Adobe.

The try-on solution seems to hold a good potential even for online retailers as it allows higher customer engagement, better sales, and fewer returns. Available in 2D photo and 3D real time video options, the TryLiveTM platform is equipped with pre-developed tools that allow fast implementation. Another interesting and useful feature is inclusion of interactive digital or social media marketing and platform support for Internet, mobile and kiosk deployment.
