Bhubaneswar based Roboticwares Pvt Ltd, one of the fastest growing technology solutions company in South Asia, is launching the first Indian manufactured GPS based vehicle tracking system with ignition control and live SMS notifications. Called Far Eye, the gadget is a centralized monitoring system to manage vehicles and keep track of their activities.
“Far Eye web interface is user friendly and easy to use. The product is designed in Orissa considering the needs of transportation industry. Each user has their own secure Customer Id and password for tracking their vehicles. It also provides tracking on the most accurate maps of the world. People not having internet facility could even call or send SMS to find their vehicle location,” RoboticWares CEO, Kushal Nahata, on Wednesday told “The ET”.
The gadget consists of a GPS tracker, which determines the location of the device by using signals from GPS satellites, and a GSM modem with SIM, which is used to report the GPS location to the server using the mobile phone network of preferred supplier.
