Upgrades production line automation to enhance management efficiency.
China Display Optoelectronics Technology Holdings Limited is pleased to announce that it has reached an agreement with Maxnerva Technology Services Limited, an affiliate of Foxconn Technology Group (“Foxconn”) to gradually set up a smart factory, that can fully optimise production line efficiency and enhance the company’s management innovation and decision-making capabilities.
The Group has been taking the initaitve to implement the “Made in China 2025” national strategy and continuing to improve its production process, in order to strengthen the capabilities in data collection and analysis in automated factories and satisfy customers’ growing demands for smart production. Recently, the Group has formed a cooperation agreement with Maxnerva, an affiliate of Foxconn, to establish its smart factory. The first phase of this project was formally launched in May 2018 in Huizhou and the rennovation of the Huizhou production line is expected to be completed by the end of this year. With the advancement of “Industry 4.0”, smart factories have become crucial in practising smart manufacturing. Through the cooperation with Foxconn, the Group will build on its exisiting production line to raise its equipment data collection and analysis capabilities, and develop big data applications to gradually increase the interconnectivity between human beings and machines. It is aniticipated that this project will help the Group to further enhance transparency in production lines management, improve product quality, and effectively reduce costs to achieve sustainable business development.
