SenRa has announced its partnership with PNI sensor to bring Smart Parking solutions to India. SenRa is a pan-India Low-Power Wide-Area Networks (LPWANs) provider for long range-based (LoRa®-based) Internet of Things (IoT) applications and PNI Sensor is a world’s foremost expert in precision location, motion tracking, and fusion of sensor systems into real-world applications.
The partnership will cater smart parking solutions with PNI’s PlacePod, an IoT enabled smart parking sensor, for faster enactment in India market. PlacePod can detect vehicle and its presence and absence in a parking space with its magnetic sensing system.
This smart parking solution will help in solving the critical aspects of parking management and unauthorized parking including, real time vehicle detection and location of available parking spaces with data validation and real time tracking. The testing of these sensors has been done and it can be easily mounted in the ground without any affect by the weather.
