Wipro Lighting Exclusively Partners With Israeli Aura Air

  • This partnership will enable Wipro Lighting to add the indoor air quality management business to its portfolio

A smart lighting products & solutions company, Wipro Lighting, recently entered into an all-India exclusive partnership with Tel-Aviv-headquartered smart air purifier maker, Aura Air. With this alliance, Wipro Lighting will gain exclusive access to all enterprise offerings of Aura Air for India. The development bears significance as the need for cleaner indoor air in the enterprise space is rising, especially in India.

It is noteworthy that this partnership will enable Wipro Lighting to add the indoor air quality management business to its portfolio. The partners aim to provide state-of-the-art solutions in the Indian market. Interestingly, the partnership’s flagship enterprise product in India will consist of IoT air purifiers, a cloud-based dashboard and a suite of mobile apps. The companies believe that it will provide a holistic approach to monitoring as well as improving air quality in line with global standards.

Notably, Aura Air claims to manufacture the world’s smartest air management products that are data-driven and use cutting-edge technologies for real-time monitoring and management of indoor air quality (IAQ). Through this relationship, all products, spares and services will be made available in India for Aura products.”

1992-born Wipro Lighting is a part of Wipro Consumer Care and Lighting. Today an LED lighting champion, the company started off to manufacture and market lighting products. It is present across application areas like modern workspaces, industries, retail, healthcare, pharmaceutical firms, roads & highways and landscapes.

Israel-based Aura Air was founded by brothers Eldar Shnaiderman and Aviad Shnaiderman in 2018. Aura Air is a smart, IoT-enabled air purifier that helps to monitor indoor and outdoor air quality in real time through its inbuilt sensors. Aura Air is currently sold in 87 countries and used by the Sheraton, Hilton, CBRE, Subway, Coca-cola, and Audi among others.
