AMOLED is a display technology that uses organic light emitting diodes (OLED) and is used in almost every electronic gadget and appliances. One of the factors that played a major role in the growth of the AMOLED display industry was the announcement by Apple to use it for their iPhone series. Other factors for the industry growth include the increase in use of tablets, Wi-Fi and other electronics devices. Though these display units provide extra ordinary high resolutions, the production cost is considerable. The pandemic in 2020 has a positive impact on AMOLED Display. Increase in online classes and work from home trends has led to increase in the sales of laptops and smartphones. Though the industry strived with the production and movement during the pandemic, it started growing tremendously in the post half.
