David Weng, Sales Director, Tronco Electric Machinery Inc., in conversation with the EFY elaborates on bringing in their automatic door systems and related accessories to the Indian market via strong partnerships and collaborations. 

Q. How is your business journey?

TRONCO was established in 1994 began with producing the infrared sensor and access control devices. We have further extended to automatic-door systems and their peripherals. Currently, our products include intelligent automatic door system, DC brushless motor, electronic access control system, wireless system and related accessories. We are also handling electrical motor manufacturing distribution.

Q. How do you define your products?

Tronco manufactures industrial supplies, electronic liquid level controllers, indicators, sensors, switches and smart doors. Our products have a close relationship with the construction industry and build intelligent automatic door systems. We have a series of sliding automated systems, shutters and many more smart controls. With our successful engineering performance and quality, we collaborate with companies, builders, hospitals and public works. We provide high performance, eco-friendly, compact products that are easy to install.

Q. How has your experience been with respect to exports (outside Taiwan & Mainland China), especially with India?

About 50% of the revenue is from exports. We have exported to Europe, Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand and to India since 2009. The overall experience is comfortable and joyful. We often collaborate with international companies, exchanging technology and experience with international manufacturers, absorbing advanced technology and innovative ideas around the world.

Q. What are the latest offerings (products or solutions) that you are promoting to Indian customers? 

We have continued to offer our automatic door operator to India with reliable quality and strong

performance. In order to make a smart product, it has to be more automatic. Our intelligent automatic system will be a perfect match with the Indian market.

Q. Besides B2B Customers, are you also looking for Agents (distributors, channel partners, etc) in India?

Yes, we are looking for  partners to build good collaboration with us. For those interested in being our agent, you can contact us through our official website. We would like the partners to have related experience along with good communication skills. We would want them to share and discuss practical information.

Also, we have a strong customising ability in our product. It helps us to provide the best solutions for B2B customers.  We will now focus on having the right partner to operate in India.

Q. What are your future plans?

We will continue to assist our current partners in India to build up the product value. Also, to have more partners to cooperate in India. In the future, we will continue to enhance our professional skills and work on offering good after-sales services. We aim to become customers’ first choice as automatic-door consultants.
