Indicating a shift towards wider urban mobility solutions and data-oriented services, ParkMate transitions to its new name: Blyp
ParkMate has officially transformed its identity to Blyp, signalling a pivotal change in the company’s strategic approach. This rebranding is designed to align with its broader vision of developing a tech-driven urban mobility ecosystem that extends beyond traditional parking services.
The company states that the shift to Blyp represents a transition from a parking-centric startup to a comprehensive mobility intelligence platform. With plans to incorporate AI, computer vision, and predictive analytics, Blyp aims to tackle a wider array of mobility challenges encountered by businesses, cities, and individual commuters.
“The name Blyp embodies the qualities of speed, precision, and innovation that we strive to integrate into every urban interaction,” stated Dhananjaya Bharadwaj, Co-founder and CEO of Blyp.
He also added, “We have already progressed beyond traditional parking solutions. What lies ahead is an offering that car owners have yet to experience.”
Along with a new name and updated visual identity, the company plans to introduce a redesigned mobile app and additional technology solutions in the coming weeks.
Co-founder and COO Abhimanyu Singh stated, “ParkMate was the beginning. Blyp is the evolution. This move allows us to scale our offerings and create deeper value for individuals, enterprises, and governments.”
Blyp aims to broaden its operations throughout various Indian cities while seeking infrastructure partnerships. These collaborations will focus on digital permits, EV integrations, and enterprise-grade dashboards, showcasing a larger ambition to shape smart, interconnected urban experiences.
