The company emerged as the top supplier of solar trackers in India, boasting a 45% market share in 2021.

Arctech Solar, listed in China, commemorated its 7-year journey in India’s renewable energy sphere. Established in 2015, the company has cemented its prominence in India, significantly supporting the nation’s green energy goals. The 7th Anniversary Gala was marked by a gathering of industry pioneers, including representatives from Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy, Torrent Power, Hero Future, Aditya Birla Renewables, KEC International Limited, and Clean Max. The event spotlighted Arctech’s laudable feats, such as completing 1.7GW and 2.8GW projects in 2020 and 2022, respectively.

Ms. Gail Chen, Arctech’s Regional Head in India, voiced her appreciation for the company’s dedicated workforce, highlighting their indispensable role in its accomplishments.  Showcasing its commitment to India’s manufacturing sector, the company’s joint venture, Jash Energy, initiated in August 2022, boasts a staggering annual capacity of 3GW. Chen emphasised the firm’s customer-centric ethos, which has decreased carbon emissions and spurred job creation across India.

Adapting to evolving policies, the company’s latest facility in Mundra, Gujarat, dedicates itself to solar trackers, aligning with India’s production-linked incentive scheme. This facility further amplifies the company’s dedication by using locally sourced steel for essential components.

The company’s legacy in India is evident through the successful delivery of 1.7GW of SkyLine trackers for the 860MW AEML solar plant in Rajasthan – India’s largest bifacial + tracker power project. The company reinforces its position as an industry titan with innovative strategies and exceptional wind tunnel testing.

Investments in R&D and the recent inauguration of a company-owned numerical wind tunnel further showcase its ambition to redefine solar technology. Beyond India, the company’s global outreach spans 14 service centres, marking its ascendancy in the international renewable arena. Concentrating on solar tracking systems, building-integrated photovoltaics, and energy storage, the company envisions a transformative solar future, both domestically and globally.

Solar solutions provided by us have been instrumental in promoting solar energy adoption, enhancing energy generation, curbing carbon emissions, uplifting communities, generating employment, and incorporating state-of-the-art technologies to amplify the reach and impact of clean energy. Despite the challenges ushered in by COVID-19, the company managed to deliver 1.7 GW of advanced 1P SkyLine trackers in Rajasthan.
