Murugappa Water Technology & Solutions Private Limited has announced a strategic Water Sustainability Partnership with AquaKraft Group Ventures. The partnership aims to address the growing demand for sustainable water solutions by offering integrated solutions in water desalination and recovery. The initial focus will be the Middle East, with plans to expand globally.

Jayateerth Nadgir, Chief Executive of Murugappa Water Technology & Solutions Pvt Ltd (MWTS), expressed excitement about the partnership, highlighting their shared vision to revolutionize and disrupt the water and energy sustainability space. He emphasized the complementary nature of their innovations, providing a one-stop shop for water sustainability and stewardship. MWTS utilizes the 4 ACES approach: Automation, Chemistry, Engineering, and Services.

AquaKraft Group Ventures, a sustainability and impact group, is focused on providing actionable solutions in drinking water and sanitation. They have innovated technologies for drinking water, sewage treatment and recycling, and biodigesters for sanitation, all of which are energy efficient, green, and sustainable. AquaKraft has treated billions of liters of water, recycled billions of liters, and implemented thousands of water-positive bio-toilets across India.

The partnership between MWTS and AquaKraft aligns with their shared ethos and business philosophy of advocating sustainability. They aim to provide green solutions that are climate-friendly and environmentally conscious. Dr. Subramanya Kusnur, Founder Chairman & CEO of AquaKraft Group Ventures, emphasized the importance of their partnership in addressing the growing Middle East & Africa Water Desalination Market, which is expected to reach a market size of more than USD 17 billion by 2029.
