ABB, NITTTR to set up digital simulation centre

ABB India today said it has signed an MoU with National Institute of Technical Teachers Training & Research (NITTTR) to build a digital simulation center that will provide next level training for the manufacturing of various electro-mechanical equipment.

Digital simulation centre

According to PTI, ABB mentioned in a statement that the multi-physics Simulation Center of Excellence (SCoE) will enhance skill development for critical electro-mechanical equipment design and manufacturing, catalysing make in India.

The SCoE will be the first of its kind for teachers, students and industry engineers to develop a deeper understanding of the underlying multi-physics and design principles for the manufacturing of various best in class electro-mechanical equipment in the country.

Such a center will provide an exposure, currently scarce, in the areas of modelling, simulations and design with expert guidance to engineers, scientists, researchers and faculties across industry oriented topics, he said.
