Advancing semiconductor and high technology operations worldwide, ABM completes acquisition of WGNSTAR to expand technical leadership.
ABM, a provider of facility, engineering, and infrastructure solutions, has completed the previously announced acquisition of WGNSTAR, a provider of technical and operational services for the semiconductor and high technology industries. The transaction follows ABM’s earlier disclosure and has now formally closed.
WGNSTAR specialises in cleanroom operations and production tool management within semiconductor fabrication facilities. Its services support day to day operations in highly controlled manufacturing environments. With the acquisition, WGNSTAR’s employees and operations will be integrated into ABM’s technical services business.
Scott Salmirs, President and Chief Executive Officer of ABM, said the company welcomed WGNSTAR’s team and noted that the acquisition adds technical capabilities in semiconductor fabrication environments. He highlighted WGNSTAR’s experience in cleanroom operations and production tool management as relevant to ABM’s existing service offerings.
The acquisition reflects continued activity in the semiconductor services market, where demand for operational and technical support remains linked to ongoing investment in manufacturing capacity. ABM said the transaction is intended to broaden its ability to support clients operating complex facilities.
Further financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. WGNSTAR will continue to support its existing customer base as part of ABM, with no immediate changes announced to day to day operations.
