Sanjeev Keskar appointed as IESA chairman

Sanjeev Keskar appointed as IESA chairman

The India Electronics and Semiconductor Association has announced that Sanjeev Keskar, managing director, sales, India & SEA, PMC-Sierra, is its new chairman. The association also announced its executive committee, in which P V G Menon would continue as its president; Ashok Chandak, senior director, global sales and marketing, NXP Semiconductors India would be the new vice chairman; and Vivek Tyagi, country sales director, Freescale Semiconductor, would continue as the treasurer. Dr Satya Gupta, immediate past chairman and CEO, Concept-2-Silicon Systems, would continue as the advisor of the executive council.

Samsung India Electronics Pvt Ltd has appointed Vineet Taneja as the country head for its mobile and digital imaging business. Taneja is credited with successfully leading the launch of 3G, and driving the data and devices business for Airtel in its key geographies in South India. He also successfully led the Bharti Airtel business in Sri Lanka over the past 18 months.
