BEL Makes an Interim Dividend Payment to Government of Rs 45 Crore

Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) has made a payment of 25 per cent Interim Dividend of Rs.45,01,06,575 (Rupees Forty Five Crores One Lakh Six Thousand Five Hundred and Seventy Five only) to the Government of India for this year.

The Interim Dividend cheque was presented by Mr S K Sharma, CMD to the Defence Minister, Mr Manohar Parrikar, at New Delhi on Friday, 4 March.

BEL has been making this Interim Dividend for the 12^th year in a row. BEL had made a payment of 292 per cent dividend in 2015 (60 per cent Interim Dividend in February, 2015, and 232 per cent Final Dividend in October, 2015).
