At the crossroads of AI and advanced electronics, Brandworks’ pact with MeitY Startup Hub promises a CoE to accelerate innovation and market-ready products.
Brandworks Technologies Private Limited has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with MeitY Startup Hub (MSH) to strengthen India’s deeptech and AI-driven electronics manufacturing sector.
The collaboration will establish a Centre of Excellence (CoE) to nurture startups in artificial intelligence and advanced electronics, accelerating innovation and commercialisation. The initiative will support ventures developing solutions at the intersection of AI, smart manufacturing, and next-generation electronics.
Leveraging Brandworks’ infrastructure, including two R&D centres, 320,000 sq. ft. of facilities, 55 assembly lines, and advanced in-house SMT and PCBA capabilities, the initiative seeks to embed design-for-manufacturability, rapid prototyping, and validation frameworks into the ecosystem.
This is intended to address systemic bottlenecks in hardware product development and reduce time-to-market for emerging ventures.
Furthermore, startups joining the platform will gain access to manufacturing infrastructure, R&D labs, product engineering support, and certification environments. Structured innovation pipelines and mentorship programmes will help translate early-stage concepts into commercially viable products.
The CoE will anchor cohort-based acceleration programmes, streamline innovation lifecycles and enable faster execution through standardised pathways.
Brandworks’ global footprint, with R&D centres in Bengaluru and Taiwan, will integrate international design expertise and cross-border innovation frameworks into the domestic ecosystem.
Founder and CEO Ishwar Kumhar said the initiative aims to bridge the gap between ideas and market-ready products, contributing to a stronger, self-reliant electronics ecosystem.
