The Indian electronics industry has started getting global attention. Companies are exploring opportunities to invest in the country as the environment is turning favourable and friendly. All this could happen because of constant government support that the industry got over the years. Department of Electronics and Information Technology has been particularly instrumental in understanding the needs of the industry and getting solutions for them in the form of government support. Had it not been for DietY, the Indian electronics industry would not have been able to withstand the global economic pressures, while maintaining its growth.
