Strengthening India’s greener future, solar and storage take centre stage as Delta Electronics and KP Group join forces for solar inverters, BESS, green hydrogen, and EV-charging solutions.
Delta Electronics India and Surat-based KP Group have signed three memoranda of understanding (MOUs) to strengthen India’s clean energy journey. The partnership focuses on high-efficiency solar inverters, battery energy storage systems (BESS), green hydrogen technologies, and electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure.
As per the agreement between both the companies, Delta will be supplying around 1GW of high-efficiency solar photovoltaic (PV) inverters for the next 12 months. KP Group will be leading the field-level implementation of these projects, including solar plants, storage units, and green hydrogen facilities.
This alliance intends to accelerate India’s shift to clean energy infrastructure by integrating KP Group’s project execution skills with Delta’s worldwide power electronics capabilities.
The companies stated that together, they aim to solve some of India’s energy issues, such as ensuring that electric cars and buses that run on hydrogen get the fuel they require and maintaining power during periods of high demand.
“With this 1 GW inverter partnership and extended collaboration on BESS and green hydrogen, we are committed to delivering best-in-class technology and lifecycle support to support India’s decarbonisation journey,” said Niranjan Nayak, Managing Director of Delta Electronics India.
“This collaboration is a strong testament to the trust and shared values between Delta and KP Group,” he noted.
