From ideas and design to fabs and factory floors, Gujarat is becoming indispensable in India’s electronics map. EFY Expo Gujarat 2025 signalled the state’s rise in ambition for next-generation manufacturing, said the State Minister Arjun Modhwadia at the inauguration.
The Electronics For You Expo 2025 is a truly landmark event for Western India’s electronics sector. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to the EFY Group and Mobile and Electronic Devices Export Promotion Council (MEDEPC) for organising this gathering at the Helipad Exhibition Centre in Gandhinagar, our vibrant capital.
The theme of the expo, ‘Making next generation electronics from idea to design manufacturing,’ perfectly captures the spirit of innovation and industrial capability that we are actively nurturing in Gujarat.
The event is not just an exhibition, but a grand platform uniquely positioned to showcase the entire electronics ecosystem. It is a platform for ideas, designs to prototyping large-scale manufacturing and successful market deployment. It is a standing testament to the collaborative vision that is driving our state forward.
Gujarat stands at a pivotal moment. We are not merely participating in India’s growth story. With major investments already finalised, our State is actively leading India’s ambitious journey in the semiconductor sector under the guidance of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi and Chief Minister, Bhupendra Patel.
Thestate is emerging swiftly as a preferred destination for large-scale semiconductor projects. This very momentum is creating a powerful ripple effect, which is enabling the growth of numerous ancillary industries and opening unprecedented opportunities across the country. These opportunities are not in the future; they are here today.
To further underline this commitment, I am particularly pleased to highlight the semiconductor sessions taking place today. The government remains committed to providing robust policy support to Gujarat’s electronics sector and a favourable environment.
Beyond manufacturing, we recognise that long-term excellence depends on a strong foundation of knowledge and skills. That is why the Electronics Education Congress scheduled later is equally important. It will focus primarily on equipping academia with emerging technologies and on developing industry-ready electronic professionals and entrepreneurs.
Gujarat is working towards building an ecosystem where innovation flourishes, skills are strengthened, and businesses expand. The expo will serve as a critical platform to bring together the brightest minds, cutting-edge technologies, and meaningful business opportunities.
I implore all our industry leaders, entrepreneurs, academicians and skilled professionals to utilise these two days to their fullest by engaging, collaborating, learning and envisioning the future of electronics, the future that Gujarat is proud to help build and lead. I wish the EFY Expo Gujarat 2025 great success.
