Boosting its ability to accelerate custom silicon development and bring innovative products to market faster, eInfochips joins Samsung’s SAFE™ ecosystem as a virtual design partner.
Arrow Electronics’ subsidiary eInfochips has announced its inclusion as a virtual design partner in Samsung’s ‘Advanced Foundry Ecosystem’ (SAFE™). With this partnership, eInfochips seeks to provide cutting-edge digital transformation and product engineering services.
As a provider in fields such as IoT, AI/ML, security, wireless, and power, eInfochips is recognised for accelerating time-to-market for clients. According to the company, by joining the SAFE™ programme, it will gain access to an extended suite of design and testing services, ultimately facilitating faster product development cycles for its clients.
These services will leverage Samsung Foundry’s process technologies, allowing eInfochips to support customers more effectively in developing custom silicon and advanced semiconductor solutions.
Mangesh Kulkarni, Vice President and General Manager of the Semiconductor Practice at eInfochips, expressed his enthusiasm about the partnership and their own capabilities. He also highlighted the company’s significant experience in silicon design, noting the company’s success with tape-outs across a range of process technologies, from 180nm to 3nm.
Samsung’s virtual design partners, part of the SAFE™ ecosystem, provide a comprehensive range of services from specification to Graphic Data System II (GDSII). This collaboration enables companies who are eyeing expansion to easily adopt Samsung’s technologies and bring their products to market more quickly and efficiently.
