ELECTRONIC ASSEMBLY Combines Multifunctional Displays for Faster Entry

ELECTRONIC ASSEMBLY has combined its EA uniTFT070-ATC capacitive multi-function panel with all the required accessories in a quick starter package

ELECTRONIC ASSEMBLY, a Germany-based innovative display manufacturer, announced that it has combined the multifunctional TFT display QUICKuniTFT070C starter package from its capacitive multifunction panel uniTFT070-ATC and some accessories for faster entry.

ELECTRONIC ASSEMBLY has combined its EA uniTFT070-ATC capacitive multi-function panel with all the required accessories in a quick starter package. This would help the developers to get started immediately to meet this requirement known from the consumer market, the company said in a statement.

The EA QUICKuniTFT070C sports a 7-inch touch display and is incorporated with a connection board with power supply, loudspeaker and reset button. The package also includes a suitable USB cable for mini-USB port on the display, USB drivers and the layout software uniSKETCH for Windows.

The 7” EA uniTFT070-ATC is compact in design with external dimensions of 190 mm x 125 mm. However, the display features a high resolution of 1,024 x 600 pixels for meaningful vector graphics.

Designed in IPS technology, the screen provides an extremely wide viewing angle. Even viewing diagonally from the side or above, the display offers high contrast and is colour distortions free. The device is engineered with a white LED backlight that generates a luminance of up to 1,000 cd/m², resulting in display that can be clearly read even in sunlight and bright ambient light.

The capacitive touch surface (PCAP) of the TFT display allows the operation similar to a smartphone. The intelligent screen is integrated with calculation functions and battery-buffered time base, which allow carrying out independent operations. For connecting with the periphery, the device is incorporated with 7 serial (USB, 2 x RS232, 2 x SPI, 2 x I²C), 16 digital and 4 analog and freely definable I/O interfaces. It is provided with a micro SD card slot, with maximum 32 GB capacity that serves as data storage for images, menus, fonts and log files.

The display can support images in all common formats like JPG, PNG, SVG, etc. The freely scalable vector display having Unicode support helps in even displaying Chinese characters. The display manages several translations of texts to be displayed in its own database.

Apart from the 7-inch version, the company also provides starter packages with a 5-inch or 10.1-inch screen diagonal.v
