The partnership designates EMotorad as the sole provider of electric kick scooters to Booz Mobility’s fleet within gated communities. This initiative targets offering eco-friendly micro-mobility options for short commutes in metropolitan areas by the year 2025.
EMotorad, a prominent player in the e-cycle and micro-mobility industry, has forged a strategic partnership with Booz Mobility, an electric kick scooter fleet operator based in Ahmedabad. This collaboration marks the first of its kind in India, where an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) teams up with a micro-mobility service provider.
As per the terms of the agreement, EMotorad will serve as the exclusive provider of electric kick scooters to Booz Mobility. These scooters will be utilised primarily for intra-campus mobility within gated communities. Booz Mobility is renowned for its innovative approach to offering Electric Vehicle Fleet-As-A-Subscription services, which cater to the short-distance commuting requirements of metropolitan residents. The partnership will see EMotorad supplying the Lil E electric kick scooter to enhance Booz’s fleet.
Kunal Gupta, the CEO of EMotorad, commented on the partnership, stating it is perfectly aligned with the company’s strategic vision to advance electric transportation across India. EMotorad has committed to delivering 500 kick scooters to Booz Mobility by the end of the fiscal year 2025, aiding in Booz’s mission to provide sustainable transportation options within urban areas.
Rutvij Dasadia, the Founder of Booz Mobility, highlighted the significance of this collaboration in meeting the demand for short-distance commuting solutions in metro areas. He anticipates that the partnership will extend services to cover around 850 million square feet of gated premises by the year 2025. This initiative underscores the increasing emphasis on sustainable and effective transportation solutions within the electric mobility sector in India.
