The homegrown deep-tech company says its latest patented technology simplifies remote configuration and management of building automation systems, helping reduce commissioning time and manual effort.
Homegrown deep-tech company Enlite has secured its second Indian patent for a cloud-based building automation technology designed to simplify the configuration and management of intelligent building systems. According to the company, the patent is titled System and Method for Cloud-Based Configuration of Building Management Controller(s).
The patented technology enables building management controllers to be configured, tested, modified and deployed remotely through a secure cloud-based framework. The company said the system reduces the complexity of commissioning intelligent buildings while lowering manual intervention and shortening project timelines.
Enlite noted that configuring controllers across multiple sites has traditionally required engineers to visit each location and repeat the process whenever operational changes were required.. Its cloud-native approach centralises controller configuration, allowing faster deployment and easier management across distributed sites.
The system also supports remote maintenance, real-time synchronisation, version control and configuration management, enabling building operators to maintain consistent operations across multiple locations.
“Our first patent proved the hardware could go wireless. This one proves the entire configuration process can move to the cloud too. Together, they show what a full-stack Indian building automation company looks like,” said Gaurav Bali, Co-Founder and CEO of Enlite.
Garima Bharadwaj, Co-Founder and CTO, said the technology shifts building automation from a largely manual process to software-driven configuration that can be completed remotely within minutes.
The company said the technology is expected to help commercial buildings, airports, hospitals, industrial facilities, educational campuses, hospitality properties and data centres.
