ERPScan company and it’s CTO Alexander Polyakov were honored as a winners In hot companies and best products award 2013

Saturday, May 25, 2013: ERPScan Inc. is proud to announce that Network Products Guide, industry’s leading technology research and advisory guide, has named Alexander Polyakov the Gold winner of the 8th Annual 2013 Hot Companies and Best Products Awards in the R&D Professional of the Year category. These industry and peer recognitions from Network Products Guide are the world’s premier information technology awards honoring achievements and recognitions in every facet of the IT industry. Winners from all over the world were honored in Las Vegas on Tuesday, May 7, 2013 during the 8th annual dinner and presentations.

ERPScan Security Monitoring Suite v.2.2 has also been distinguished under the Best Products category as a bronze winner in the “Information Security and Risk Management” and “Security Software (New or Upgrade version)” nominations. ERPScan Inc. itself won an “Honorable Mention” badge in the “Hot Companies” category.

Alexander Polyakov led the R&D department of ERPScan before becoming the CTO. He has increased R&D from 2 to 15 people in the last 3 years and published many whitepapers on SAP security, including “SAP Security in Figures”, which received a lot of media buzz, being the first survey ever about the current situation of SAP security. It was nominated in Global Excellence Awards by InfoSecurityProductsGuide. Alexander has been presenting his research worldwide at more than 20 conferences (RSA, BlackHat, HITB) and training the CISOs of Fortune 500 companies, including private trainings for SAP AG. His research team released a huge amount of papers. 6 employees have spoken at various conferences. The R&D team was acknowledged by top vendors: SAP, Oracle, HP, IBM, for finding vulnerabilities in their products and helping to solve them. They organized a deeply technical security conference: ZeroNights, which attracted 600 people and was rated by SCMagazine as one of the top conferences to visit in 2013. Alexander is engaged in creating ERPScan Security Scanner for SAP, a world-known corporate solution, rebranded this year as Security Monitoring Suite, which covers all areas of SAP security. The product is purchased by large clients including the world’s largest nuclear company, big oil and gas and logistic vendors, being able to monitor 30+ SAP systems in parallel. His work with SAP Product Security Response Team started with finding vulnerabilities with more than 200 issues found overall and resulted in official partnership with SAP AG.
