Euler Motors Expands Palwal Facility With ₹100 Crore Investment

Euler Motors has expanded its manufacturing footprint in Palwal, Haryana, with a ₹100 crore investment to support the production of its four-wheeler electric commercial vehicle portfolio. The expanded facility, spread across 40 acres, has an annual production capacity of up to 24,000 vehicles.

The facility, inaugurated by Dr. Pawan Munjal, Executive Chairman of Hero MotoCorp, will manufacture Euler Motors’ Turbo EV 1000 and Storm EV. At full ramp-up, the plant will operate two shifts a day, supported by a third hybrid shift.

The facility features an automated four-wheeler assembly conveyor line, dedicated assembly lines, a body shop, and an integrated battery pack assembly line. The vehicles are designed and engineered for India and supported by a deeply localised supply chain.

The company has also integrated testing across multiple stages of manufacturing. Suspension frames, drivetrain and steering systems undergo validation for early fault detection, while battery packs are tested for thermal cycling, thermal shock, water wading, drop, vibration, mechanical shock, and abuse under real-world load conditions. Electrical, mechanical, and thermal systems are validated before vehicles are delivered to customers.

According to Saurav Kumar, Founder and CEO of Euler Motors, the company’s four-wheeler business has recorded significant growth over the past year. Monthly four-wheeler sales increased from around 40 units in April last year to roughly 800 units in June this year. Euler said its market share in the category has reached around 28%, while electric vehicle penetration in the four-wheeler one-tonne segment has increased from about 1% to 5.8%.

The company said the Turbo EV 1000 was developed to address the performance and affordability gap between electric and internal combustion engine (ICE) commercial vehicles. Euler describes it as the world’s first one-tonne electric truck to outperform ICE vehicles on both performance and price.

The Storm EV, meanwhile, is positioned as a safety-focused commercial vehicle and features Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), including collision alerts and night-vision assistance.

Gaurav Kumar, Head of Supply Chain and Manufacturing at Euler Motors, said the company has brought key vehicle components, including the chassis, axles, and battery pack, in-house to maintain consistency in quality and reliability.

The expanded Palwal facility is expected to help Euler Motors cater to growing demand for its four-wheeler electric commercial vehicles while creating skilled employment opportunities in the region. The company said all its vehicles are designed and manufactured in India.
