Fasmho Energy & Cyantron Colaborate On EV Battery Management

The firms will collaborate to create and produce high-voltage battery systems with an estimated value exceeding $180 million. Because of this, Fasmho’s contribution to intelligent battery management units (BMUs) is projected to have a value above $10 million.

Fasmho Energy, an innovator in intelligent EV battery management technology, has teamed up with Cyantron Synergies, creators of sophisticated battery packs, to advance high-voltage battery technology for a range of electric vehicles, including cars, buses, and trucks. Together, they will create and build high-voltage battery systems with a projected total value surpassing $180 million, with Fasmho’s smart battery management units (BMUs) alone expected to account for more than $10 million of that figure. This joint effort highlights the critical need and potential for developing dependable and effective BMUs to enhance battery performance and safety in India, a market currently lacking in indigenous solutions.

The partnership will see the co-development and production of over 32,000 bespoke, high-voltage intelligent battery systems in the next three years. Leveraging Fasmho Energy’s expertise in battery intelligence and Cyantron Synergies’ capabilities in advanced cell design and manufacturing, the companies are poised to supply Indian EV manufacturers with energy storage solutions that meet global standards.

Abdul Azeez Khan, CEO of Fasmho Energy, remarked on the uproaring EV movement in India, noting the surge in orders for clean, energy-efficient electric public transportation. He expressed enthusiasm for the collaboration with Cyantron Synergies, aiming to bolster local manufacturing and reduce dependency on imports for critical components. Fasmho Energy, already recognized for its innovative low voltage BMS solutions and commitment to research and development, is set to expand into the high voltage BMS market, supported by iCreate, a prominent technology business incubator.

Mohammed Ubeduddin, Director of Cyantron Synergies, acknowledged the significant gap in reliable electrical monitoring within the EV sector. He emphasized that their solution, which incorporates intelligent algorithms into the EV ecosystem for immediate problem-solving, positions Cyantron as a comprehensive provider, from cell design to manufacturing and battery pack assembly. The strategic alliance with Fasmho Energy is aimed at delivering robust and intelligent energy storage solutions for electric vehicles, furthering their commitment to a more sustainable future.
