To expand its business presence in Northern India, Festo has recently unveiled its first Automation Experience Centre (FEC) in Noida.
On the sidelines of the inauguration, Festo India also celebrated its 40th anniversary. The company has an agenda to assist manufacturers in adopting advanced automation, digitalisation and smart factory technologies.
The facility has multiple features such as live demonstrations and application-based solutions across factory automation, electric automation, pneumatics, motion technologies, digital engineering and Industry 4.0. This new facility will provide help to manufacturers to analyse automation technologies before deployment and identify opportunities to improve productivity, operational efficiency and sustainability.
The FEC will also showcase solutions from Festo Didactic, the company’s technical education division, and host training programmes, workshops and industry engagement initiatives to support workforce development in advanced manufacturing.
Speaking at the inauguration, Festo officials said the centre will strengthen collaboration with customers, OEMs, system integrators and educational institutions while reinforcing the company’s commitment to supporting India’s manufacturing transformation. Festo added that it will continue evaluating opportunities to expand its technology footprint in the country based on customer demand and industry growth.
