Flip Electronics specialises in sourcing hard-to-find, discontinued, long-term buy (LTB), EOL, aged and obsolete electronic components
Flip Electronics has signed an authorised distribution partnership agreement with Synaptics to distribute its portfolio of embedded computing, wireless connectivity and sensing solutions, with a focus on aged, end-of-life (EOL) and obsolete electronic components.
The partnership aims to help customers in automotive and Internet of Things (IoT) markets maintain access to components as products approach or reach the end of their manufacturing lifecycles.
Flip Electronics specialises in sourcing hard-to-find, discontinued, long-term buy (LTB), EOL, aged and obsolete electronic components. Through the agreement, the company will provide customers with authorised and traceable Synaptics products, along with supply-chain support to address component obsolescence challenges.
“We are pleased to offer our products through Flip Electronics, with their emphasis on customer service and strong commitment to solving customers’ obsolescence supply chain challenges — a critical factor for our customers,” said Eric Stauffer, Senior Vice President, Worldwide Sales and Marketing, Synaptics.
Jason Murphy, CEO of Flip Electronics, said the partnership would expand the company’s portfolio of authorised distribution partners and help customers manage component lifecycles.
The agreement is expected to support customers seeking continued access to Synaptics components for existing products and programmes, particularly where component discontinuation can create sourcing and production challenges.
