Durable IP65 LED Bay Lights use Chip On Board technology to deliver up to 3200 lumens
Thursday, September 11, 2014: GlacialLight, the lighting division of GlacialTech Inc., introduces the newest model in its Arcturus Bay Light series. The GL-BL30 is a durable LED low bay light that uses 30W of electricity to produce up to 3200 lumens. With a highly efficient CoB LED, the GL-BL30 sips energy while illuminating indoor spaces at 107 Lumens per Watt.
Aesthetic
Low Bay Lights are powerful workhorse luminaires, but their lower, more visible positioning means they need to fit well in their environment. The GL-BL30 comes in 3 matte colors – white, black and red to fit in a variety of settings. Their hourglass shape is aesthetic but unobtrusive. A translucent blue ring surrounds the GL-BL30, giving a cool ambient glow when the light is on, while the main lighting projects downwards from the rounded skirt. The GL-BL30 Bay Light can be attractively attached to the ceiling by an included cable or pendant rod accessory.
Customizable Light
The GL-BL30 comes in different configurations to meet diverse customer lighting needs. The frosted cover model diffuses light smoothly and with the lampshade produces a 90 degree beam angle, or an ultra-wide 110 degree without lampshade for lower installations. The glass lens cover model features more direct light producing a tighter 70 degree beam angle and is suitable for higher installations. As with all Arcturus Bay Lights, color temperatures of 3000K (Warm White), 4000K (Neutral White), and 5000K (Cool White) are available and dimming is an option.
Robust
The GL-BL30 is a robust low bay light rated to IP65. It works well in living rooms, malls, and retail environments, but will stand up to the abuse of a restaurant kitchen or garage. With 100-277VAC compatibility, the GL-BL30 will work with mains voltage worldwide.
