Versatile Ceiling Lighting Suited for Wet Indoor and Sheltered Outdoor Installations
Saturday, March 22, 2014: GlacialLight, a division of lighting and technology manufacturer GlacialTech, announces today the newest addition to its waterproof LED down light series. The GL-DL08-IP is an 8” waterproof down light for wet spaces, rated for dust and waterproof protection to IP54. Available in a variety of color temperatures to suit different environments, the DL08-IP can also come with 3-in-1 dimming (DL08DA-IP) and has DC input (DL08LD-IP) available.
Ambience
As part of GlacialLight’s Cappella series of down lights, the GL-DL08-IP features a sleek, circular and lightweight design that fits in with contemporary surroundings. Color temperature options include from 3000K (Warm White), 4000K (Neutral White) and 5000K (Cool White). Light gently fades at the edges of the down light for a special atmospheric effect perfect for spaces such as saunas, spas, bathrooms or swimming pools.
Versatile
The DL08-IP series of down lights has the versatility to suit a variety of indoor and outdoor applications. The down light comes in either AC or DC input (11-15V/22-30V) configurations. 3-in-1 dimming via 1-10V, PWM, or Resistor is available, as well as a non-dimming version. A wide 110 degree beam angle casts light evenly across any room or sheltered outdoor space.
The GL-DL08-IP down lights from GlacialLight are an all-in-one lighting product that include the LED and IP54 rated fixture. A bundled driver with active power factor correction, over temperature protection and short circuit protection ensure safety and reliability in wet environments. These down lights are RoHS compliant, contain no hazardous materials and emit no UV or IR radiation.
