Anritsu Company has introduced the first handheld spectrum analyser—the MS272xC series with frequency coverage up to 43 GHz. It can provide the broadest frequency range to measure and monitor the RF spectrum.
Features and USP: The MS272xC series analyser is designed with an assortment of applications to test the RF physical layer, making it easier than ever for field technicians, monitoring agencies and engineers to monitor over-the-air signals, locate interferers and detect hidden transmitters. It has five models, with high end frequency coverage of 9 GHz, 13 GHz, 20 GHz, 32 GHz and 43 GHz, respectively. It can provide frequency coverage up to 43 GHz in an instrument that weighs less than 8 lbs. It also eliminates the need to carry heavy bench-top spectrum analysers into the field to measure signals above 20 GHz, such as those used in microwave backhaul applications. To further lighten the load, the MS272xC spectrum master is integrated with a spectrum analyser, and can be ordered with a channel scanner and interference analyser to conduct all common field measurements, eliminating the need for multiple instruments.
