Monday, May 12, 2014: The Haryana Government has reportedly invited applications from manufacturers for the State Export Award for 2013-14. The deadline for the applications has been set at 16 June.
According to a Times of India (TOI) report, an official spokesman said that 18 outstanding Exporters are given Rs 1 lakh each under the Export Award scheme. The awards are given under a number of categories including, Scientific Instruments and Home Appliances, Agro-base, Engineering Auto and Auto components, Food and Horticulture, Glass Rubber and Ceramics, Textile, Readymade Garments, Hosiery, Leather and Footwear and other categories.
In addition to this, Rs 1 lakh is also given to an outstanding woman exporter along with 19 consolation prizes for micro and small scale, large scale and medium scale industries.
